Oakham
Choral Society exists to offer all those who live or work in and around
Rutland the opportunity to enjoy shared music making, performing a range of
choral works accompanied by professional musicians and soloists of
exceptional calibre. The
Society undertakes three concerts each academic year in November, March &
June, and details of this season’s programme can be found on this website.
The Society’s repertoire is drawn from a range of musical periods in both the
sacred and secular traditions, but with a particular emphasis on performing
many of the great masterworks of the choral repertory with orchestra and/or
professional soloists and instrumentalists. The Society is supported by the staff and facilities of
Oakham School. |
